My wife and I recently purchased a 2016 Newell coach. We were introduced to the coach by Phil Cornelius while it was on display at MCC in Indio, CA. During the entire process Phil was a pleasure to work with. He was very informative in explaining the coach, and efficient in getting information to us. He facilitated the entire process and truly made it enjoyable. After delivery, we returned the coach to MCC. Newell has service representatives on site at MCC from January through March each year. Having Newell repair personnel here to address issues is a valuable asset and was a significant factor in our purchase decision. While at MCC, if a problem arose, when I called or text Phil, he would have service men at our coach promptly. The service personnel are knowledgeable and friendly.
We took delivery of our coach in Miami, Oklahoma. The entire staff there was friendly and great to work with especially our service adviser, John Garner. In summary, we love our new coach and have been very happy with Newell staff, especially Phil who we also consider our friend.

He made the transaction easy and everything he said was to be done was completed as promised.Next, Chris Barbee made the paperwork easy. Then John Garner took over and with the help of Bryant, the gave me a thorough walk through and orientation.We left the factory for the Nashville Rally and there, Becky made us feel right at home as it was our first Newell Rally. By the way, Jackie and I very much enjoyed having dinner with you and Alice at the Johnny Cash Museum. We returned to the factory for a few minor repairs and Creslie Clark took over and made sure that everything was done to our satisfaction. We recently took delivery of coach 1552, and couldn't be happier. For 2 years we have been admiring the Newell coaches at our RV resort and had the idea of a new Newell in our 5-7 year plan. We were exploring a new Prevost and Phil did a great job outlining the differences and after taking a test drive, we accelerated our long range plan to a right now plan! The entire experience exceeded our expectations. The design session was fun and Amber and Becky really helped us to make the right selections for a beautiful outcome. Brian and Chuck were great about keeping us informed throughout the build. The delivery experience was incredible. We initially thought we wouldn't need the entire time and we needed every minute to learn the coach. Chuck, Gene and Steve were awesome- as was every person who came out to fix something or provide us information throughout the three days. They were knowledgeable, responsive and enjoyable to spend a few days with. We really felt like they cared about ensuring our delivery experience was a good one and they went above and beyond to ensure it was. We appreciated Grant checking in on us, as well as the lunch with the management team. We really do feel like we are part of the Newell family and are so happy we are.Thank you!!

Newell experience 2014:Barbara and I met Phil Cornelius five years ago in Indio, California while searching for our first coach which we had decided our preference was a Prevost H conversion. We had been traveling for six months viewing coaches from Florida to California and places in between. Phil was recommended as a experienced sales representative for Marathon. We contacted Phil and planned a trip to California to kick tires and see available coaches. From our first meeting with Phil we felt comfortable with his sales style and realized he was extremely knowledgable about Provost conversions and other manufacturers. Phil assisted us locating, purchasing and delivering our favorite Prevost H in early 2009.In 2013 after Phil transitioned to Newell we visited the Newell manufacturing facilities
in Miami, Oklahoma and were impressed with the quality process and genuine attitude throughout the entire organization to focus on constructing a superior coach. After visiting the Tampa RV show in January 2014 examining all the Prevost conversions and viewing the Newell show coach we were convinced that we should seriously consider negotiating a transaction to build a new Newell coach. Phil did an outstanding job along with Pat Dwyer making the purchase process both prompt and comfortable.Then the enjoyable journey began meeting with the wonderful team of professionals at Newell to design our new Newell. Beginning with James in engineering, Amber and Becky in interior, Linda and Jerry in graphic and paint design and Steve in electronics. We
were delighted with the entire design process and pleasantly surprised at everyone's positive attitude toward satisfying our requests during the manufacturing of our coach.The much anticipated date arrived in November 2014 when our coach #1527 was delivered. The delivery process was well planned. Chuck and Gene and the installation team executed the delivery process perfectly not only explaining the Newell coach systems but offering customization of compartments and other interior
enhancements. After the shake down trip to Branson we returned to Miami with
operating questions and minor adjustments which the Newell team responded to
and met all of our expectations.Manufacturing then turned us over to a very capable service team of Todd, Gene,
Tommy, Jimmy and Creslie who have been responsive to each of our questions and requests. Grant and Karl you should be proud of the team you assembled.We are now enjoying our new Newell coach at Pelican Lake in Naples Florida stop by and see us. Towards the end of last year we made the decision to buy a new coach in 2014. Having owned three Prevosts, we looked at all the converters products. We do not like the H3, and that eliminated many of the current conversions. After talking to a friend who recently purchased a used Newell and is very happy with it, I contacted Phil. I have known Phil for a number of years but never had the occasion to deal with him. Phil referred me to the Newell web site and we proceeded to pick a floor plan we liked. Having heard all of the reports from Prevost converters and owners about the way a Newell handles and drives I was a bit leery. I made an appointment with Phil to meet in Oregon so that we might see and drive the show coach. Phil spent a lot of time with us and answered all of our questions. I have never purchased anything of value where there was less pressure and more assurance than my dealings with Phil. He is the most knowledgeable and honest salesman I have ever done business with. We fell in love with the design, features and performance of the show coach and made an offer that was eventually approved by your management.After scheduling our delivery we arrived at the factory and were welcomed by your staff. Phil informed us of the process before us. I have never gone through an indoctrination that required three days on any of the previous two new coaches we purchased. What could take three days?The next three days were so informative I was overwhelmed! Gene Langston did a fantastic job Steve Kloer assisted and between them Chuck Evans was always checking in to see how things were proceeding. I am sure I asked many questions that were duplications and somewhat ridiculous, but no one ever responded negatively or ran out of time to answer them.After leaving Newell and spending 3 days in Branson, we experienced some problems with our Aqua Hot. I called the Newell hot line and within 10 minutes was talking to Dwight Murray. He walked me through a number of exercises to no avail. I was ready to head back to Miami when Dwight called me back and informed me that he would be on site within an hour. I couldn't believe he was driving up to solve my problem. Dwight made a temporary fix and we were able to complete our stay in Branson. We left Branson for Miami so we could be there the first thing Monday morning. The guys were on the coach first thing and by early afternoon we were able to leave. Prior to leaving, Gene spotted a bay door that was not fitted properly. I had not noticed it at all, but his trained eye spotted it and he proceeded to have it fixed. I have never experienced this before. Everyone at Newell from Jessica, at the front door, to Grant wishing us farewell were genuinely interested in our satisfaction.I have been in the automobile business for 48 years. The last 35 years as a dealer and owner of 8 different franchises. We take pride and excel in customer satisfaction. Most of my stores are recognized as the best by the franchisors. I constantly look at organizations regarding customer care. Most are average, some better and very few excel. You and your people are without a doubt, the best at what you do.Cheryl and I are very happy with our coach, but ecstatic about the people we were privileged to do our business with at Newell Coach. I believe I told Grant, Chuck and Todd that they and their people do not know how good they are. Thanks for putting together a great organization.

This review is specifically directed to Phil Cornelius. I have known Phil for many years and have purchased over a dozen motor homes from him. I have also dealt with other Coach professionals over the years and NONE of them compare to Phil. Phil has a strange ability to satisfy your every desire and need by finding you the exact coach that you want with all the features
that you need. On top of this he is also somehow capable of finding you the terms you desire to make the deal happen.
Some people just have a knack when it comes to making things work. Phil is one of these people. There are only a handful of them
amongst us and Phil is a rarity. When purchasing or selling such an expensive and complex machine you need someone on your side that is professional, knowledgeable, honest, respectful, responsible, and that also has a good sense of humor. Phil is my go to guy when it comes to coaches. I never buy any coach without calling Phil. Even if I find the coach on my own I call Phil for his advice. When I tell him the make, year, and model he seems to already know everything about that specific coach. He is an encyclopedia of coach knowledge.Thank you Phil for your assistance for over a decade. I am doing business with Newell Coach, for one reason, only. I have known Phil Cornelius for 18 years, and have purchased several coaches from him. I trust him with his dealings, and he treats me like I am family. The last coach I bought from him was a used coach for 1,150,000.00. Newell made the right move when they brought him aboard, I plan on purchasing a new Newell next year, and it will be from Phil.
