CORAL PINK SAND DUNES STATE PARK

This unique park has 1200 acres of play area for off road vehicles in addition to a 265 acre conservation area for nature lovers. Hike or take a four wheel drive vehicle or buggy down to the bottom of the South Fork Indian Canyon to view ancient Indian pictographs. Only 22 sites here (pull-thrus) and only a few are adequate–#8, 11, double sites 15/16 and 19/20. No hookups but water is available along with a good dump station. Open all year but at 6000 feet altitude you could see some white stuff fly during the winter months. DIRECTIONS: North of Kanab or south from Mt. Carmel on Hwy 89 you will see signs to the park. VILLAGE CAMP OF MOAB (FORMERLY PORTAL RV RESORT)

Paved streets and sites in the Premium section. Spaces #M26, M27 & M28 are 110 feet while pull-in sites M29 thru M32 and M34 are 75 footers. Pull-ins M45 thru M54 and M56 are 85 footers. For a 70 foot back-in choose M13, M15, M17, M18, M19 and M22. In the original section with 65 foot gravel sites, #1, 2, 3, 7. 9, 10, 12, 13, 14, 16 18, 19, 21, 22 & 23. FF: All sites listed except #16, 18, 19 & 22 in the original section. Wi-Fi. DIRECTIONS: At the intersection of Hwy 191 and Center Street in town, head north 1-3/4 miles and the park will be on your left. If headed south on Hwy 191, the park will be to your right about a mile after crossing the Colorado River bridge.
